About Sari Marjaana Covington
Born and raised in Finland, Sari and her sisters were taught to sew by her mother. Sari learned to design, knit, and sew during the dark cold arctic nights. Sari is inspired by the colorful Marimekko designs and fabrics native to Finland. Sari’s love of craft and sewing still blossoms today. Well-clothes babies and kids are the light of her life, especially her three grandchildren! Sari is excited to begin teaching classes at Simple Grace Design on Wednesday evenings.
